Accounts Administrator (4 Day Week/Cork City)
Our client is a highly successful safety and security business with their offices located towards the Southside of Cork, quite near to the City Centre. A key role has opened for an experienced accounts administrator, and this is a permanent job opportunity. The successful candidate will work on their own initiative managing a busy schedule of bookkeeping duties throughout the month. Recent relevant experience in a similar role is essential for those wishing to apply. Parking will be provided. A 4 or 5 day week are both options with this post.
Job Description
- Processing Creditor invoices and Creditor payments.
- Creditor Reconciliation’s and all other payments.
- Processing Debtors Invoices & Statements
- Accounts Receivable processes
- Maintaining the cashbook for payments and receipts.
- Posting cashbook entries to the appropriate ledgers.
- Allocating cheque receipts and payments on the ledgers.
- Monthly Management Accounts using TAS Books.
- Bank Reconciliation’s / Managing Expenses
- Management of TAS (Accounts Package).
- Management of Thesaurus wages Package
- VAT payments and other relevant Tax returns
- Liaising with Auditors on Year End Accounts
- Ensuring all necessary Health & Safety documentation is up to date.
- Management of Employee Timesheets and Invoicing.
- Monthly and annual WEEE returns and all relevant communications with the EPA.
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Company Directors.
Key Requirements
- Two plus years’ experience minimum in a similar role.
- A bookkeeping or accounting qualification is preferred.
- IT Skills relevant to such a position.
- Strong organisation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
