We are looking for a Technology Manager, Base Metals Nickel Hydro, to strengthen our Technology Group Base Metals Process Solutions team in Hydrometallurgy Business Line.
In this role, you will:
Develop competencies in base metals nickel hydrometallurgy.
Lead the development, commercialization, and IP management of nickel hydrometallurgy solutions.
Act as the principal specialist in base metals nickel hydrometallurgy.
Contribute to hydrometallurgical equipment development.
Support marketing activities for base metals processing solutions.
Provide technical support to Sales, Project Implementation, and Service.
Manage external collaboration and networking within the nickel hydrometallurgy community.
Be part of the BL technology expert team, supporting global business objectives.
Apply Metso's business processes and tools effectively.
To succeed, you will need:
M.Sc or D.Sc degree in process metallurgy, chemical / process engineering or equivalent
Few years of practical experience in nickel hydrometallurgical- or equivalent industries
HSC Sim modeling skills are considered as a great advantage
Fluent communication skills in English, other languages are an advantage
The ideal candidate possesses a strong business and technology orientation, complemented by proficient analytical skills and a customer-focused mindset. They should have genuine interest and motivation for project-oriented tasks, with effective decision-making abilities even in high-pressure situations. Being an excellent team player with a positive attitude, the candidate should excel in collaborative problem-solving, demonstrating an organized and systematic working style alongside a proactive approach. A willingness for global travel, including international project assignments and on-site work.
